HC-One Spearheads The Care Sector In Employee Learning And Development

06 October 2014

HC-One is leading the care sector in the learning and development of each colleague, after winning the ‘Best Learning and Development Initiative’ award at the CIPD People Management Awards 2014, the most prestigious awards in the learning and development sector.

HC-One's innovative touch learning and development programme, which is available to all HC-One colleagues, has revolutionised workforce engagement and culture throughout all HC-One teams. The touch programme provides employees with a personal, multi-channelled, learning and development programme tailored specifically to them.

Seeing off competition from the likes of LV=, TalkTalk Business and Tesco Bank, HC-One’s touch was announced as the winner of the ‘Best Learning and Development Initiative Award’, at the recent awards ceremony at the Grosvenor Hotel in London. This award follows six wins for touch and for the Learning and Development team at HC-One including the Peer Awards, E-Learning Awards and Training Journal Awards.

HC-One Head of People and Organisational Development, Alison Innes-Farquhar, said:

"I am delighted that HC-One won the Best Learning and Development Initiative Award at the CIPD People Management Awards.

"A key HC-One objective has always been to use our bespoke
touch learning and development programme to transform the way we communicate, reflect and learn. Receiving this prestigious award is a testament to the success of the programme, and how HC-One is taking the care sector to the forefront of learning and development and supporting the delivery of the kindest care to Residents."
