HC-One celebrates the kindest care

Staff at HC-One homes across the country are celebrating their success after being awarded with special recognition at the HC-One of a Kind Awards. The first annual gala awards were held at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester last night, 8th December 2016, and it was an evening to recognise colleagues who go above and beyond to deliver the kindest, high quality care to Residents. The event was also an opportunity to celebrate HC-One’s fifth anniversary.

Winners had been nominated by Residents, their relatives, and colleagues of HC-One, together with health and social care professionals who have seen first-hand the outstanding contribution made by an individual or team within an HC-One Home or the HC-One Central Support Centre. There were 15 awards to recognise colleagues from across the business presented on the evening by HC-One’s Senior Management Team led by Executive Chairman Dr. Chai Patel, CBE, FRCP. All present were also thanked by Dame Esther Rantzen for their hard work and for HC-One’s support of her charity Silver Line.

As the UK’s third largest care home provider, HC-One is committed to investing in staff and has recently been named as a Skills for Care Centre of Excellence. The company is also proud of achieving a 9.4 average rating on the sector’s leading care home comparison website www.carehome.co.uk, putting HC-One homes into the very best company in the care home sector.
