Whilst nationally the coronavirus lockdown has started to ease, and we’re able to slowly ease our own restrictions based on our own risk assessments and government guidance, we must remain alert to a changing local landscape in which some communities are placed in a local lockdown.
We monitor central and local government data daily to help us determine any communities where the infection rate is increasing which poses increased risk on the home so that we can reintroduce additional safety measures to manage the risk appropriately.
We will always prioritise the health and wellbeing of our Residents, Relatives and the Colleagues who care for them; if an HC-One care home is located in a community that is placed into local lockdown due to an increasing infection rate we will act quickly to take the necessary precautionary measures which may include us temporarily pausing safe garden and window visits to the care homes.
We will ease these temporary restrictions once it is safe to do so. To find out if your care home is currently welcoming safe admissions and visits, please visit the individual care home page for our daily updates.
