Marketing suite opens at Charterpoint’s new Bingham care home

The marketing suite for one of Nottinghamshire’s latest care homes has opened its doors, paving the way for the first residents to move in during the summer.

Developed by Charterpoint Senior Living and operated by HC-One, Fosse Way View at Bingham will provide modern care accommodation close to the centre of the town.

Residents can choose one of four independent living communities, depending on the level of residential and memory care required to meet their needs.

The 70-bed care home will feature a range of first-class facilities, including Buttercross Bistro, the Robin Hood Picture House and the Belvoir Hair and Beauty Salon.

Announcing the opening of the new marketing suite, Charterpoint’s CEO Adrian Goose said: “We are thrilled that the marketing suite has now opened its doors at Fosse Way View. This will provide the opportunity for future residents and their families to find out more about the excellent facilities and high standard of care and well-being that will be on offer at Fosse Way View when it opens in the summer.

“Charterpoint specialises in developing senior living facilities around the UK, and we’re proud to have developed this care home, which is so close to our headquarters in Edwalton. Credit is due to our contractor Lawrence Baker, who has overcome the challenges of working during a pandemic to build such a super facility.”

Fosse Way View has been developed mostly over two storeys, with one section over three storeys, on the site of a former police station in Grantham Road, Bingham. It is close to community facilities and easily accessible.

It will be HC-One’s second care home in Bingham. The company, which offers professional residential, nursing and memory care for older people in over 300 care homes located across England, Scotland and Wales, already runs Beauvale in Moor Lane, Bingham, which has a carehome.co.uk rating of 9.3 out of ten.

Tracey Tomlins, Managing Director at HC-One, said: “We are delighted to have opened the marketing suite at our newest care home, Fosse Way View. At HC-One, we strive to be the first-choice care provider and we can’t wait to welcome future Residents and their loved ones to the marketing suite so they can learn about our new state-of-the-art care home, and the kind, high-quality and person-centred care that each of our Residents will receive at Fosse Way View.

“We are really looking forward to formally opening the care home in the Summer and being able to provide care and support to more people in Bingham, complementing the great work of our team at Beauvale Care Home.”

A Fund managed by TIME Investments, part of the Alpha Real Capital Group, has acquired the investment of Fosse Way View from Charterpoint.

James Murray, at Alpha Real Capital Group, said: ‘’We are very impressed with the building and all credit to the team at Charterpoint, HC-One and Lawrence Baker for working through the pandemic to deliver a first class product. The home will deliver high quality elderly care for the foreseeable future and it represents an important investment for TIME:Social Long Income.’’

The new marketing suite is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Appointments must be booked in advance and can be arranged by appointment outside of hours too.

A risk assessment has been undertaken to ensure the safety of staff and visitors. Temperature checks will be carried out and visitors are being asked to wear a mask and observe social distancing while visiting the marketing suite.
