Fazakerley House care home in Prescot, Merseyside threw a wonderful party for Resident Molly's 90th birthday today.
Fellow Residents at the home were in attendance and the Sherry and Shandy were flowing quite nicely.
The chef baked a special cake for her birthday and Molly received many cards and presents.
Molly’s family live far away, in Oxford and Scotland, and due to various local restrictions, they were not able to visit her on her special day. However, Colleagues had set up the devices and videoed the occasion live so her family could see that Molly was happy and enjoying herself. Molly’s son had said, "Mum looked very happy. We don't feel so upset at not being there for her birthday, so grateful"
Molly announced, "Thank you, I have had an amazing day."
Home Manager, Veronica Francisco, said, “We are like one big family here and it was lovely to be able to celebrate Molly’s birthday with her.”
