A gardening afternoon for Dudley care home ResidentsToday at HC-One’s Himley Mill care home, Residents on the Willow community enjoyed a spot of indoor gardening.

Joan Jeavons, Pauline Hotchkiss, Margaret Cene, Patricia Barrett, Donald Partridge and Eric Parker (all pictured), enjoyed planting some flowers for the garden.

Residents picked out the brightly coloured flowers and arranged them in the pots. Everybody found it rather relaxing and particularly liked getting involved as they knew they would be able to enjoy the benefits of seeing the flowers thrive throughout the next few months.

One Resident commented, “I enjoyed planting the flowers in the order I liked, ready for the garden.”

Home Manager, Kelly Smith, remarked, “It was lovely seeing Residents getting involved to help our garden get ready for the summer.”
