Colleagues at HC-One’s Fir Trees in Dukinfield, Greater Manchester were in for a lovely surprise when the daughter of a Resident baked them a cake.
The beautifully decorated cake was handmade by Mandy, daughter of Fir Trees Resident William, as a thank you to the Colleagues for all the hard work they are putting in.
One Resident commented: “It’s a well-deserved surprise.”
Mandy put an extraordinary amount of detail into the decoration and Colleagues and Residents alike were amazed at the sight of the cake.
Fir Trees Home Manager, Nicole Gunning, said: “Our Residents’ families never cease to amaze us and it’s lovely to be thanked in such a nice way.”
