Today Residents at HC-One’s
Brooklands residential, nursing and memory care home, in Grimsby, got their minds active by completing some baking and sewing themed magnet puzzles.
Residents really enjoyed putting the baking and sewing magnetic pictures boards together in the form of a jigsaw type puzzle.
The activity got some great conversations going about Residents’ favourite cakes and what they used to bake, as well as how they used to make their own clothes when younger as it was cheaper to get material instead of clothing.
Hot and cold drinks were served during the activity.
Catherine Brooks, Care Home Manager, said, “It was lovely seeing how much the Residents enjoyed looking at magnets and chatting.”
