Colleagues and Residents at HC-One’s Roxburgh care home, in Cradley Heath, have been very busy with activities this week.
Resident Tony loves music and particularly enjoyed a Zoom video call sing along with a group called, ‘Kisses for Wishes’. Tony Crumpton, pictured, loved interacting with the singers on the video call and sang and clapped along.
Colleague Amy remarked, “Tony really enjoyed singing to the classics. He has such a passion for music and it is wonderful to see!”
Also, this week, Residents have been getting involved in fun armchair exercise sessions. Waving their arms and kicking out their legs has been getting the blood flowing for Residents Jean Farmer, Jean Thomas, Irene Prosser and Tony.
Jean said, “I really enjoyed exercising.”
Irene added, “That looks like fun!”
Linda Wilkes, Home Manager, remarked, “The group want to regularly exercise and have a lot of enthusiasm for it. I just love to see it!”
