Residents enjoyed a kind donation with the afternoon tea today at HC-One’s Greenways Court care home in Consett.
Knitsley Farm Shop donated some delicious fruit and cheese scones for the Residents to snack on with a cup of tea or coffee.
Residents enjoyed their afternoon tea and they chatted with each other and Colleagues at the home.
Knitsley farm boasts an artisan bakery with an expert team using traditional techniques, making the scrumptious donated scones one of a kind.
Greenways Court Home Manager, Kinga Kowaliczek, said: “It’s very kind of our local farm shop to think of our Residents on a day like today.
“They are all enjoying a scone with a cup of tea.”
