Alloa care home recognised for community spiritThe Orchard care home in Tullibody – part of HC-One, the kind care company - is celebrating having been awarded the Community Spirit Award at The Clacks 2019 Businesses Awards.

The Alloa & Hillfoots Advertiser Clacks 2019 Business Awards was established to reward and celebrate the local Clackmannanshire business community. The winners of the ten award categories were announced at a ceremony on Thursday 29th August at the Alloa Town Hall.

The Orchard was shortlisted for the Community Spirit Award category, alongside three other local businesses, the award recognises a business or company that puts the community at the heart of what they do. 

At the award ceremony, The Orchard was announced as the winner of the Community Spirit Award, the award was nominated to the care home because of the strong community links they have built with three local nurseries and two primary schools as well as volunteers and family members of Residents. 

The Orchard has also been focused on making improvements the home’s gardens with the aim to provide a more relaxing and welcoming environment for both Residents and visitors.
