Residents are enjoying a relaxing day of pampering and love-themed arts and crafts as Valentine’s week gets underway at HC-One’s Roxburgh House care home in Cradley Heath, West Midlands.
Residents selected their favourite pictures to colour in or made their own freestyle crafts. One Resident even made a very sweet love heart collage out of buttons.
Roy Holloway, a Resident at the home, loved colouring in his very romantic picture. He said: “This is for my lovely wife, Joyce.”
As Residents crafted away, they each took it in turns to get a bit of pampering to get ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day with their family and friends, be it via Zoom or by window visit.
After a fresh haircut or a bit of styling, the Residents are now prepared to give their thoughtful crafts to their loved ones.
While the gentlemen enjoyed a hair trim, Resident, Jean Farmer, was treated to some hairstyling to curl her gorgeous hair. Jean commented: “I can’t wait to get my hair permed when I can!”
