Colleagues at HC-One’s Cairnie Lodge care home in Arbroath have worked hard this year to make sure their annual tradition of unveiling their Christmas Craft Table.
Everyone at Cairnie Lodge was eager to display their annual craft table. Every year, local companies, Residents and Colleagues craft and donate items to the home to display on their table.
Local companies have been ever so generous, donation a variety of items such as wax melts, earrings and jute bags. Residents loved getting stuck in and helped make some reindeer cones and reindeer food bags. They also created some wonderful Christmas wreaths, cards and snowmen bottle lights which received a lot of admiration from Colleagues.
Staff also made some wonderful contributions, including handmade frames, hampers, character tea lights and knitted items such as scarves.
The table was complete and loaded with donations and Residents could not wait to see all the crafts from themselves and the community. The table was finally unveiled to Residents on 2nd of December and they couldn’t believe their eyes.
The Christmas Craft Table spreads festive cheer throughout Cairnie Lodge and Residents are now starting to get into the swing of the festive spirit.
