Colleagues at HC One’s Daisy Nook received a big thank-you for all of their hard work during this difficult time.
Whilst a regional line manager was carrying out an introductory site visit at the Ashton-Under-Lyne care home, they were asked to join the Home Manager in the communal lounge as there was a wasp issue. Little did they both know that this was a ruse to get the manager out of the office and surprise her.
All members of staff were present and the spokesperson informed home manager Tracy Denton that she has been such a great support for all the staff over the past few months, and they thought she should be thanked for her continued hard work and efforts.
Tracy commented “What a lovely surprise I am getting a bit emotional now! I also want to say the team have worked their socks off during Covid and we have had no agency staff as the guys have helped each other.”
