Australia day celebrations at Warrens Hall
Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Warrens Hall care home enjoyed a day of celebration at the home, in honour of Australia day.

The home was decorated with flags, photographs and teddies representing various Australian animals, and Residents adorned their best Australian style hats.

Games were played, including a trivia game, as well as a variety of traditional songs which were played throughout the afternoon. A BBQ was then held in the garden of the home, with everyone able to enjoy treats such as burgers and hot dogs.

Throughout the day, funds were raised in support of Dudley Zoo and castle, whilst a prize raffle was also held, with funds from the raffle being donated towards the Bushfire Wildlife Victims.

Kalmit Jagpal, home manager, commented: “All Colleagues have helped our Residents in enjoying their day, singing songs and engaging in the activities. Fun was had by all.”
