Ayrshire care home resumes Resident meetingsResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Fullarton care home in Irvine are thrilled that they can now hold their regular Resident meetings once again.

Due to lockdown restrictions, the meetings had been put on hold. But now, Residents and Colleagues can meet up once again while observing social distancing rules.

The meetings are an opportunity for everyone to keep up-to-date with home news, plan activities and simply enjoy a chat with one another over wine and cheese or tea and biscuits.

One Resident commented: “Thanks for arranging this. It’s been a really good afternoon and I’ve found it very informative.”

Residents were encouraged to attend the meeting and have a chat with the Wellbeing Team, Head of Catering and Head of Housekeeping about how Colleagues can continue to offer care and support during the coronavirus pandemic.

Colleagues were delighted that Residents were happy with all their hard work and listened to their feedback about how to improve life in the home even more with a few small changes.

Fullarton Home Manager, Nichola Ferguson, simply said: “I’m glad the meetings went well.”
