Balloon exercise fun at Hyde care homeResidents at Hyde nursing and nursing memory care home, on Tameside, took part in an impromptu exercise activity which turned out to be a great deal of fun!

Colleagues were blowing up some balloons for a leaving surprise and decided to use the balloons for some exercises with the Residents which was a great way to get everyone moving.

Nine Residents and six Colleagues had great fun keeping the balloons up in the air together, as some music played in the background.

One Resident said, “It’s been exciting!”

Holly Smedley, Care Home Manager, remarked, “Sometimes the best activities are the ones that aren’t always planned. What a great afternoon!”
