Beautiful autumn photo frame made by Hayes ResidentsEveryone at Aston House care home, in Middlesex have just had their Harvest Festival celebration. Residents have loved doing a variety of autumnal crafts this month.

So yesterday, Residents made a photo frame from Autumn leaves.

With combined efforts, they stuck together the autumn leaves against the frame, enjoying the varied colours of the leaves.

“It was fun to see the smile on their faces when they were asked to pose for a photo click. The display was then put together in the main reception area where it could proudly be seen by everyone,” explained one of the wellbeing Colleagues.

Colleagues intend to send these photos to Relatives, to let them know that they are continuing to provide loved ones with fun activities and, though they miss seeing their families massively, they are still enjoying laughing and there's always lots of smiles around the home!

Residents loved the colourful display of autumn leaves. They said they felt proud on seeing the display of their work in the reception area. Resident Alice commented, saying, "It was a brilliant piece of art made."

Home Manager, Seema Sandeep-Jose, said " Such stimulating activities boost confidence and have a therapeutic effect on the well-being of Residents".
