Birmingham care home Colleagues prepare garden for summerColleagues at HC-One’s Roxburgh House care home in Birmingham, which offers residential and residential dementia care services, recently decided to give the homes garden a spruce up, ready for the summer.

Colleagues Denise and John set to work on 14th April, in painting the homes beautiful outdoor decking area, that just needed a small clean and a fresh lick of paint, ready for use in the summer.

The homes garden area is very popular and is key for Residents wellbeing. Recently, Resident Ronald Hawkins sat in the sun, on the homes decking area, and enjoyed chatting to Colleagues about his own garden back home and how he won awards when he was younger for his flowers

Denise and John worked all afternoon trying to make the garden look better and once it was completed, they showed Residents the brand-new decking area, which they thought looked wonderful.

Resident Sheila said: “Denise and John worked so hard all day, I am looking forward to seeing the finished result.”
