Birmingham care home receive second vaccinationsResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Hodge Hill Grange in Birmingham had their second dose of the coronavirus vaccination in another major step to ensuring their safety and visits from loved ones.

The home has enjoyed a long period of negative coronavirus cases since Residents and staff had their first vaccines twelves weeks ago, so the second doses should go even further in protecting everyone in the home and those visiting.

Residents were happy to see the GP on March 30th as he administered the second doses to them and they all took it like champions and they were all done within a few minutes.

Hodge Hill Grange care home Manager Theresa Ingram-Gettins said: “It’s good to see our Residents and staff getting their second vaccines.”

“Hodge Hill Grange will continue to ensure that we do everything possible to minimise the risk and spread of coronavirus, as we have done right from the start.”
