Birmingham care home shares message of hope during lockdownResidents and team members at HC-One’s Hodge Hill Grange care home in Birmingham created a special banner to inspire hope in the community during the UK-wide lockdown due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Everyone at Hodge Hill Grange decided to use their creative side to put together a positive message banner which has been displayed on the outside of the home to help spread a message of hope throughout the local community.

The colourful banner reads ‘Never Lose Hope’ and was thoughtfully handmade by Residents and members of the team at Hodge Hill Grange. The community within the home has also been proudly participating in the Clap for Carers each Thursday at 8 pm to celebrate the amazing people who are working to keep people safe and well during these unprecedented times.

One Resident commented: “It’s our way of telling everyone to keep their chin up, it’s a difficult time but as a nation we will pull through and be stronger together.”

Theresa Ingram-Gettins, Home Manager at Hodge Hill Grange said: “Spirits are high at Hodge Hill Grange and we are hoping that this banner will help spread love and positivity for those who need it most during this difficult time.”
