Birmingham family reunited at care homeA family has been reunited at HC-One’s Lyndon Hall care home in Birmingham, after visiting restrictions were eased.

One family, associated with Lyndon Hall, had not seen their mum since she moved into the home in January. Residents Vinette was not aware that her family were coming and so Colleagues just told her they were going to see someone.

On entering the room, her daughter, grandchild and great grandchild were waiting. There was lots of tears and laughter, from staff too and the family spent time together, for the first time in months.

All visits have gone really well and it has been a huge morale boost to everyone at Lyndon Hall.

Julie Hurst, Home Manager at Lyndon Hall said: “Despite the current restrictions, the visit went so well: even I shed a tear.”

Located in a beautiful part of the West Midlands, within a quiet woodland area, Lyndon Hall is a large two-storey, specially converted care home offering nursing, residential memory and nursing memory care for those living with dementia.
