A Resident is celebrating her 69th birthday at HC-One’s Appleton Manor care home in Bredbury, Stockport.
Valarie spent her day with her family and friend as they came to visit her by her bedroom window with cards and gifts.
Her daughter, a professional baker, brought a huge birthday cake along with her for Valarie to share with the Residents and Colleagues at the home.
Valarie said: “I was so happy to see my daughter and friend. I’m so grateful for my cards and lovely presents.”
Although Valarie couldn’t celebrate with a big party this year, Colleagues and fellow Residents made her day as special as they possibly could, made even better with a window visit from her daughter Tracey and her friend Suzie.
Appleton Manor Wellbeing Coordinator, Sarah, commented: “I love seeing our Residents happy and smiling.
“Let’s hope 2022 will be a better year so we can celebrate Valarie’s big 70th birthday in style!”
