Residents and Colleagues at HC One’s Four Seasons care home have been gearing up ready for the McVitie’s Tasties Challenge.
McVitie's have teamed up with NAPA (National Activities Provider Association) to challenge care homes throughout the country to come up with a Best Decorated Biscuit, and the Bolton home couldn’t wait to enter!
The winning creation will be crowned champion and receive an afternoon tea package worth £1,000!
The team at Four Seasons decided to put their thinking caps on and an idea was put forward by Autumn Resident, Michael Steele.
Michael, although having dementia, does recall joining the army with his twin brother at 17, and wanted to use this as his idea.
The Wellbeing team and head housekeeper assisted Michael with coming up with the design, and think it will be very poignant especially as Remembrance Day is very close.
Our fingers are crossed that the team win with this fantastic looking biscuit!
