Six Residents from HC-One’s Eden House care home in Bishop Auckland attended the Ferryhill Town Band Remembrance performance at the local Methodist church on Saturday 9th November.
The ladies from Eden House were accompanied by family and members of the team to the band performance, everyone listened as band performed a variety of songs. Residents enjoyed tea and coffee during the interval before the music started again and the ladies sang along to the songs.
The performance was held for Remembrance Day, which is observed by members of the Commonwealth of Nations to remember members of the military and armed forces who have died in the line of duty.
Eden House Home Manager, Emma Wade, said: “It was lovely to hear about how much fun the ladies had at the performance, thank you to Ferryhill Town Band for putting on a wonderful show for everyone.”
