Blooming good Daffodil Tea Party at Bishop Auckland care homeHC-One’s Eden House care home in Bishop Auckland hosted a Daffodil Tea Party on Thursday 19th September for Residents, visitors and members of the team.

In keeping with the theme of the day, Residents dressed in colourful or yellow clothing and greeted visitors as they entered the home. Residents from a fellow HC-One care home, Springfield House in Low Fell, Gateshead also came to join the festivities.

An Elvis tribute show performed by Mike Wild was a highlight of the event, with everyone singing and dancing along to their favourites from the king of rock n roll. The kitchen team prepared an afternoon tea filled with delicious treats for all to sample, guests and Residents were amazed when they tasted all of the wonderful food on offer.

One Resident commented: “It was such a special day, everyone has made such an effort and it has really paid off.”

Eden House Home Manager, Emma Wade, said: “Thank you to everyone who made our Daffodil Tea Party such a success, it was a pleasure to see so many people having such a good day.”
