Boston Residents enjoy keeping fit and healthy after coronavirus vaccineThere’s no stopping the Residents at HC-One’s Elmwood House care home in Lincolnshire as Resident opt to maintain their health and fitness after getting their coronavirus vaccination.

A small team from the nearby Greyfriars surgery came into the home to administer the vaccinations and to answer any questions the Residents and Colleagues had. The home was full of laughter and excitement as everyone starts to feel positive about the near future.

Elmwood House is now one step closer to returning to some normality and Residents are looking forward to being reunited with their families once again when the government give the go-ahead.

One Resident commented: “I’m glad we have finally had the vaccine.”
But the vaccination isn’t the only thing keeping everyone at Elmwood House healthy. Energie Fitness Gym has also been collaborating with the home to promote healthy lifestyle choices.

As well as their handy hints, the gym generously donated a batch of energy drinks to Colleagues at the home to say thank you for all their hard work and to keep them energised during their busy shifts.

A spokesperson at the Energie Fitness said: “We appreciate all the hard work frontline workers are doing in this pandemic. The effort they put in on a daily basis doesn’t go unnoticed.

“Hopefully these drinks will get them through some of their long, tough shifts.”

Health, safety and fitness are high priorities at Elmwood House and Residents are looking forward to returning to a bit more normality as the coronavirus vaccine rolls out across the UK.
