Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Elmwood House Care Home in Boston enjoyed an afternoon of celebration recently as the home held its very own awards party.
Colleagues who had been at the home for certain periods of time received a Length of Service award in the form of a certificate and badge, thanking them for their dedication to the home and Residents, whilst there were four separate awards for the Residents to receive.
Among others, Chief Listener and Home Singer were two of the awards given, as each Resident who received an award was gifted with a bouquet of flowers and a HC-One badge.
Each of the Residents were surprised to receive their award, and everyone enjoyed a celebration afterwards complete with singing, dancing and indulging in a delicious homemade buffet.
Tracey Klue, Home Manager, commented: “We’ve really enjoyed ourselves this afternoon, the Residents were really pleased to receive their own awards and it was wonderful to see their smiling faces.”
Set within the wider setting of Park Place, a private, age-exclusive, independent village in Boston, Lincolnshire, Elmwood House is a beautiful, 48 bed care home that offers residential and nursing care.
