Rowan Brookes, one of the Colleagues at HC One’s Glanffrwd care home, was meant to be celebrating his wedding day, so staff decided to give him a treat on what would have been his special day.
Staff at the Bridgend care home wanted to mark Rowan’s day where he would have been watching his bride walk down the aisle, however due to what is going on at the moment it is uncertain as to when this will now happen.
Colleagues at the home presented Rowan with flowers, chocolates and a bottle of fizz so he and his future Mrs can enjoy a treat. They all wanted to let him know thoughts are with them and everybody can’t wait for when the wedding does take place.
Staff commented “We know it’s going to be difficult this weekend, but please relax and enjoy your time together. Your wedding will be just around the corner.”
The home hope he enjoys his weekend off out in his garden with his wife-to-be.
