Wellbeing Coordinator Julie, at John Joseph Powell care home in Prescot, Lancashire, has been hard at work, organising the display of all the handmade poppies from the Residents.
Residents loved the options of painting colouring and drawing poppies. One said, “We are looking forward to our wonderful priest Father Anthony Dennick leading our own in-house remembrance service”
Home Manager, Stephanie Molden, commented, “I am so delighted to see the Residents step up for the ‘Home Managers Challenge’ to make 100 poppies for the display – all achieved within a month – a wonderful and fitting display!”
