Burns Night crafts and celebrations at Salford care homeResidents celebrated Burns Night with arts and crafts, poetry and a traditional supper at HC-One’s Barton Brook care home in Eccles, Manchester.

Residents Marjorie and Maureen started off their Burns Night celebrations by colouring in Scottish flags, ready to decorate the home.

Later, everyone gathered round as Activities Coordinator, Nicola, read poetry by Robert Burns, much to the enjoyment and amusement of Residents.

Residents then settled down for a traditional meal of haggis, neeps and tatties, followed by cranachan. Their meal was followed by a relaxing evening of listening to Scottish music and the weekly book club meeting.
