Celebrating Nepal with food and music from Hayes care home'International Cuisine' day has come around again for Residents at Aston House care home in Hayes, Middlesex. 

The menu for this Thursday is 'Nepalese food' with brilliant Nepalese music and a themed blue and red dress code that symbolises the colour flag of Nepal. 

The dining table was decorated with the represented nation Nepal. One of the Nepalese Colleagues assisted the cook with a variety of delicious Nepalese traditional dishes. In the afternoon, Residents enjoyed some dance and music in the lounge followed by tea and snacks.

Barbara, one of the new Residents at Aston House, greatly enjoyed her day and commented saying it was lovely to watch everyone smiling, enjoying the food and dance to the music.

Alice, who is also a Resident, said that she was “thrilled” to join together in sharing different cultural cuisines.

Home Manager, Seema Sandeep-Jose, said, “Residents enjoy the variety in dishes and music of International Cuisine and this was no exception for our Nepal week.”
