Residents at HC One’s The Beeches care home, celebrated World Kindness Day.
For World Kindness Day Residents at the Doncaster care home wanted to show their appreciation for staff in the home who had continued to care for them despite challenging times.
Residents handmade and hand wrote cards for each of the staff members, and presented them to each individual with a smile and a chocolate bar!
Residents said they just wanted to give a little thanks to everyone who had been trying so hard during these times. They loved seeing how happy the staff were to receive their cards.
Resident Jane Hewitt said “every word in every card is true!”
The home manager commented “I am really touched by the kindness that our Residents have shown; it makes us really see what a difference we make.”
