Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Appleton Manor care home have organised a wonderful birthday gift for a singer who usually entertains them.
Due to circumstances of coronavirus, the home has been unable to have any outside entertainment enter the home.
Colleagues at the home thought it would be nice to send Samantha a birthday card from all her friends at Appleton Manor. Residents created a homemade birthday card, some Residents signed it and some put their own finger print on it.
Residents also made a keyring and fridge magnet as a keep sake from everyone at Appleton Manor.
Samantha started singing as a blue coat and has now been singing for over 20 years. Samantha sings in the home regularly and due to the current situation, she has been doing an online sing along for everyone in the home, which has been a big hit with Residents.
