Residents at HC-One’s Daneside Court care home in Northwich, Cheshire been nurturing a new friendship with children from a school in France.
The schoolchildren, aged 12 and 13, kindly wrote Christmas cards to the Residents at the home. Each Resident received their own personalised letter and took great delight in reading about the children’s hobbies, families and lives.
Now the Residents have made spring-themed cards and written their own letters to send back to the school in France so that the children can get to know them a little better.
The pen pals project is still ongoing and Residents cannot wait to hear back from their new friends.
