Residents have been having fun taking part in two celebrations this week over at HC-One’s Dingle Meadow care home in Oldbury, West Midlands.
Colleagues put up wonderful decorations for Chinese New Year and even wore red clothing for the special event, a colour that represents happiness, success and good fortune in Chinese culture.
Residents tucked into a delicious Chinese-inspired buffet before dancing along with Chinese music.
Love was in the air on Sunday morning as Residents prepared to celebrate Valentine’s Day. They enjoyed a lovely sing-a-long in the morning to their favourite love songs in the beautifully-decorated lounge.
After an exciting morning, everyone settled down for afternoon tea where they could treat themselves to cupcakes, scones and even a glass of prosecco or fruit punch. Residents chattered among themselves, swapping stories of their fondest romantic memories.
