Christmas bauble making at Lostock homeResidents at Avandale Lodge care home, in Cheshire, have been getting creative this week by making Christmas cards and baubles for loved ones.

All Residents, including Hazel, Ann, Enid, Ada, John, Estelle and Marian, joined in throughout the week and enjoyed listening to Christmas music playing while they got to crafting. There was even a sing-along and dance while some sported their Christmas hats too.

One of the Residents said, “The baubles are lovely, my family will love it.”

A favourite part of the activity was making the glitter cards and having a photo taken for the bauble. Another Resident added, “My family will love hanging it on the tree. What a lovely thing to do.”

Wellbeing Coordinator, Rachael Sidebotham, who organised the activity, commented on, “What a fantastic week it has been!”
