Christmas commences with films for Manchester ResidentsTo start December off, at Westwood Lodge care home, they enjoyed a relaxing and festive themed afternoon with a Christmas film.

Residents were treated to an afternoon of cakes, hot chocolate, Baileys, wine, tea and coffee, all while watching the classic film ‘Home Alone’.

The Residents loved watching the film, after never seeing it before! They thought the film was hilarious, and it really lifted their Christmas spirits after a difficult year for everyone.

Colleagues commented on how nice it was to see the Residents laughing and smiling, enjoying the film.

Many of them commented that they enjoyed the festive cold Baileys with ice as a refreshment.

Betty Walls, Resident, remarked, “I have loved watching the film!”

Lorraine Young, Home Manager, said,  “It was lovely to see the Residents so relaxed and enjoying the film with various refreshments.”
