Colleagues at HC One’s The Rowans care home were ecstatic to receive the Kindness in Care award.
The new home manager at The Rowans Care home in Coalville, Kym Hubbard, wanted to thank her team for the support and dedication they had shown during her first few months managing the home.
The hard work the team put in really made a difference to how Kym’s first few months at the home went.
Kym realised that the team had been through many difficult challenges during the pandemic, and they had gone above and beyond to keep the home running smoothly whilst keeping their spirits high.
All of the staff never hesitated to put the needs of the Residents before their own and Kym felt that this was the least she could do to show her appreciation for them.
Each team was awarded a badge so they can display it with pride.
Kym commented “I cannot thank the staff enough for all of their hard work and commitment during this difficult time.”
