Colleagues at HC One’s The Rowans care home were ecstatic to receive a Local Heroes Award this month.
The home manager of the care home in Coalville received some excellent news that the home was nominated for a Local Heroes Award.
The award was then published and proudly displayed onto the North West Leicestershire district council page.
The home manager commented “after an increasingly difficult time, receiving the Local Heroes Award is definitely a boost in moral for all staff. We are working increasingly hard to ensure all Residents are safe. We are not sure who nominated us but it is greatly appreciated.”
At any time this award would be lovely to receive, but for the home to be nominated throughout this very challenging and uncertain period, really means a lot to all of the staff and everyone would like to thank those who nominated.
