Maple Lodge care home in Staffordshire hosted their Resident and Colleague coffee morning today as part of the annual Alzheimer’s week.
A Colleague said, “As Relatives are unable to visit the home at present, it was nice for the Residents to sit with Colleagues and have a chat, plenty of cake with teas and coffee.”
Residents stated they were delicious and looked lovely, see pictured Resident Joan Anslow admiring the display.
All monies raised went to the Residents fund and it was a lovely morning.
Home Manager, Sarah Dodd, commented, “It was a lovely morning had by all, was lovely to see smiles on the Residents’ faces and staff to have time to sit and reminisce with them.”
