Colleagues at Essex home dress up for Armistice DayColleagues at Admirals Reach care home in Chelmsford, dressed up as periodic heroes from the 20th century.

As well as British Army and Royal Air Force uniforms from World War Two, there was also a nurse from World War One and the day was full of celebration.

Residents joined in with singing all the war songs and indulged in a few sweet treats as well as beer and lemonade. They loved seeing Colleagues dressed up in forces uniforms and the music from wartime Britain. One said, “I have loved the whole experience!”

Lal Mangalam, Home Manager, commented, “This is going to go down in history. Something to look back on and remembered about the war.”
