Colleagues at Oakland care home in Rochdale were delighted to become flu fighters as they got their annual flu vaccinations.
Home Manager Amcia Servak arranged the appointments for staff to get their flu jabs, as well as a visit from a local pharmacist to the home to answer Colleague’s questions about the vaccination.
The gesture represents HC-One’s commitment to protecting those living in, working in and visiting care homes from contracting flu throughout the winter months, as well as the remainder of the year.
Amcia said: “I am so proud of my Colleagues for making the effort to get vaccinated, ensuring that they are protecting themselves and everyone living at the home.”
