Connecting Scotland donates iPads to Bellshill care homeResidents at HC-One’s Hatton Lea care home in Bellshill have received five iPads which were donated by the Connecting Scotland initiative.

Connecting Scotland is a Scottish Government initiative which is aiming to connect people throughout the country during the coronavirus crisis by providing technology.

Hatton Lea received five iPads from Connecting Scotland for Residents to keep in touch with their loved ones, the devices also include a variety of apps which are aimed to appeal to the interests and pastimes of many people.

One Resident commented: “I think it’s lovely to be able to use the iPad to speak with my family, it makes me smile every time we video call.”

Hatton Lea Home Manager, Jane Sugden said: “On behalf of everyone at Hatton Lea, thank you to Connecting Scotland for their generous donation which is greatly appreciated.”
