Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Springwater Lodge care home in Calverton, Nottinghamshire have now received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
This means the home is now one step closer to returning to some normality and Residents are looking forward to eventually being reunited with their loved ones when the government give the go-ahead.
The vaccination event was well organised and everyone felt in safe hands when getting their injection.
The vaccine is currently being rolled out across the UK to Residents and Colleagues in care homes under guidance from the Department of Health.
Springwater Lodge Home Manager, Mihaela Oprea, commented: “Hopefully it’s one step further in seeing our families.”
