Hazel Southern, Home Manager at HC-One’s Melbury Court, has been awarded the Kindness in Care award.
Two Residents, Pam Hampton and Mary Brunskill, presented her with the prestigious award that she achieved due to the commitment and kind care she has shown throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
Pam Hampton, Resident of the home, commented: “Hazel is a very kind and caring person.
“She has shown a lot of commitment to Melbury Court.”
The Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched by HC-One in 2013 to recognise the efforts of their kindest Colleagues and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones.
Hazel continues to take the home from strength to strength and everyone at Melbury Court agrees that they are very lucky to have her.
Hazel said: “This award means so much to me.
“It brought a tear to my eye to know that I have such support from the staff and Residents.”
