Coventry care home have a garden makeoverColleagues and Residents at HC One’s Victoria Manor care home have all got involved to give the homes garden a makeover.

The balcony on the first floor at the Coventry care home was in desperate need of some TLC and a splash of colour.

The Residents and staff got involved to transform the dark and tired space into a bright and colourful place for everyone to enjoy.

The planters were created from wood then planted with flowers and a rose - all donated by staff and Relatives of those at Victoria Manor.

One of the Residents said “I really enjoyed helping to plant the flowers in the planters.”

Everybody was so impressed with their achievements and they decided to enter it into the HC One garden competition.

Whether the home wins the competition or not, everyone is in agreement that the Residents are the winners as they now have a useable space to enjoy a cuppa with friends, dine out alfresco or even enjoy a game of croquet.
