Coventry care homes unite for Soul Singing successResidents at Victoria Gardens care home in Coventry were delighted to visit a fellow HC-One home nearby in support of a new initiative the team introduced.

Brandon House, which is also located in Coventry, has introduced its very own Soul Singing group for Residents and members of the local community to come together and enjoy.

After witnessing the benefits of music and singing for those living with dementia, Colleagues at Brandon House established their very own Soul Singing group.

The home’s first session saw Brandon House’s Maintenance Officer Paul play the guitar while Andy, a Colleague at Victoria Gardens care home, took a lead on the singing.

Residents loved singing and dancing along to a number of all-time favourite hits, including Roll out the Barrel and Hey Jude.

One Resident commented: “It was amazing, Andy was absolutely brilliant!”
