Craft making in readiness for Clarendon Hall OlympicsAs Clarendon Hall residential and nursing care home, in Humberston, are holding their own Olympic games this week, to recognise Team GB, the Residents wanted to make their own decorations.

Paper plates were used to make the iconic Olympic rings and then the paints came out! So, Residents took part in painting the rings in the Olympic colours.

When they were dry the rings have been placed around the lounge to decorate it ready for Friday’s games (see pictured).

Hayley Sandison, who is part of the wellbeing team, worked with numerous and had a fantastic time!

“When do we get paid on our factory line” Resident Jean K joked!

Barbara B couldn’t believe she managed to paint nine rings in total and Jean L said it was, “Quite therapeutic” doing the painting.

Nicola Walker, Home Manager, added, “The lounge looks lovely and we can’t wait for Clarendon’s games to start!”
