Crafts and games at Tipton care homeResidents have enjoyed an afternoon of crafts and fun games over at HC-One’s Waterside care home in Tipton, West Midlands.

Some Residents opted to take part in a crafts session dedicated to flowers. They very creatively made their own flowers out of plastic spoons and painted them in beautiful metallic colours.

Residents chose to make tulips and daisies and the finished products are absolutely outstanding. Colleagues couldn’t believe how the Residents had made such beautiful flourishing flowers out of spoons.

One Resident commented: “A very unusual activity. It’s like bringing the garden inside!”

Other Residents chose instead to take part in a fun jigsaw game. They were challenged to roll dice and assemble numbered jigsaw pieces in the order that the dice were rolled.

Residents had a laugh and a joke as they worked as a team to assemble all four jigsaws.

One Resident said: “It’s a very enjoyable game, something a bit different! I’ve liked playing as a team and enjoyed the company.”
